CAIRO (Reuters) – Three Lebanese paramedics have been killed and two others wounded, one critically, in an Israeli assault whereas they have been extinguishing fires within the southern city of Faroun, Lebanon’s well being ministry stated on Saturday.
“Israeli forces targeted a team from the Lebanese Civil Defence as they responded to fires sparked by recent Israeli airstrikes,” a ministry assertion stated, specifying that the strike hit a hearth truck.
It condemned the assault as a “blatant strike” on an official Lebanese state equipment, marking the second such assault on an emergency workforce in lower than 12 hours.
The Israeli army didn’t instantly remark.
